RTT Hypnotherapy; how it works and what to expect

Rapid Transformational Therapy ( RTT ) is a hybrid therapy using aspect from Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy, Counselling and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) developed by Marisa Peer. RTT rewires the mind for positive changes in behaviour, habits, beliefs, and health issues.

RTT works on the subconscious level to “prove” limiting beliefs, habits and behaviours are no longer serving you. After a negative pattern is understood and the emotions are released, RTT uses powerful, descriptive words to create a new and improved version of your belief system.

RTT sessions can take place in the comfort of your home, or via Zoom.

The first step is a complimentary 20-minute consultation. The main session will last between 1.5 and 3 hours, during which, we will uncover the root cause and belief’s underlying the presenting issue, using RTT tools, and powerful, descriptive words to help create new positive neuro transmitters that help you install & embed new positive beliefs and feelings to help you thrive.
After our session, I will send you a personalised recording for you to listen to for 21 days. This bespoke recording will be approximately 15 - 20 minutes in length and will strengthen the new neural connections that were formed during your session and will help rewire your mind for lasting results. *Included are two free 30 minute follow up call’s; the first at 10-14 days after the session and the second at the end of your 21 days.

How can RTT Hypnotherapy help me?

While RTT is a new and transformational hybrid form of hypnotherapy, the practice of hypnotherapy and hypnosis for medical or emotional conditions has actually been around for thousands of years.
In fact, there is evidence to suggest that hypnosis has existed since the beginning of recorded history, even though the term “hypnotism” wasn’t coined until the 1840s.

Frequently asked questions about RTT Hypnotherapy

  • What does it feel like?

    The experience feels different for different people. Some people feel a floating sensation, some do not. Others may feel sleepy, some do not. Most people feel relaxed and at ease. What’s most important is to know that how you feel isn’t an indicator of how effective it is. Regardless of what it feels like - just let your body relax into it. You don’t have to do anything ... just let go !

  • Can I get "stuck" in hypnosis?

    No! That is a myth. Hypnosis is a state of mind that we naturally go in and out of every day. You have complete control the whole time. You can talk, move your body, get a tissue, even get up and leave. You may drift into sleep and wake up after a bit or you will realize you don’t hear my voice and you can open your eyes and come back to a fully alert state.

  • Why do you use Hypnosis?

    I use hypnosis because it creates a state of deep relaxation, yet heightened focus and attention. That is one of the benefits of using hypnosis in therapy; it allows you to focus internally and be hyper-aware of your emotions and to be totally present. Hypnosis allows you to access the subconscious mind, without the critical factor of the conscious mind.

  • What if I go back to scenes that are painful or scary?

    If you go back to scenes from your life that are related to things like sexual or physical abuse, or other trauma, it’s important to remember that you are not reliving that scene, you are simply reviewing it and that you are safe. I will support you and create a safe space for you to express your emotions and heal.

  • What if I don't "go deep" enough?

    Don’t worry about how deep you go. Just let yourself relax & let go ! The depth of trance is not linked to results at all. Through your intention of healing, your mind will take you to the correct level to get optimal results..

  • When will I start to see changes?

    There are 3 types of change from Rapid Transformational Therapy - every person is different:
    i. Immediate: You feel a massive shift right away - immediate changes in your physiology, thoughts and behaviors right in the session.
    ii. Incremental: You see consistent shifts every day, or over time.
    iii. Retroactive: You don’t see the shifts right away and then one day you suddenly look back and see all of the things that are different in your life.

  • What if I think I already know the reasons behind my issue?

    What makes RTT amazing is that even if you think you know the reason behind your issue, you see it in a COMPLETELY new way. That’s what allows you to change the meaning and ultimately, change your beliefs. And for many clients they go back to scenes that are totally different than what they expected. Just relax and trust that your subconscious mind will show you exactly what you need to see.

  • What if I need or want another session?

    RTT is designed to give you a powerful breakthrough and create big changes in your life. Some clients may need more than one RTT session on a particular issue, depending on how deep it is it can take up to 3. Most want to keep doing sessions to work on other areas of their life, to transform their life even more. I offer discounted rates for 2nd and 3rd sessions within a 3 month time frame.

To ensure you get the most out of your session, please;

  • Find yourself a warm, quiet place where you have privacy and will not be interrupted by people, pets, deliveries etc.

  • Check you have a good Wi-Fi signal in advance of of our session

  • Check that your device is fully charged and plugged into a power socket

  • Put your phone on silent/aeroplane mode

  • Wear loose, comfortable clothes

  • Be seated on a comfortable chair/sofa/bed
