Terms of Service;

Please take the time to read through this information carefully.

Please note that by making an appointment with Hafiedha Redpath Integrated Healing, (Here-forth referred to as Hafiedha Redpath) for any RTT Hypnotherapy, Shiatsu, Therapeutic Massage or other mind body therapy offered, you are agreeing to these Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy in their entirety. You also agree to attend the appointment you have booked.

Appointments

Appointments vary in duration depending on treatment type and individual preferences and needs. If this is your first appointment, you will receive a New Client Consultation Form, and Agreement which must be returned no less than 3 days prior to your appointment. Please ensure that you complete this step -it is a necessity for completion of your appointment and treatment.

Cancellations and late arrivals

Cancellation Policy: 24 hours. Please cancel as soon as possible if a foreseeable event is likely to prevent you from attending, for example, illness or adverse weather conditions.

I require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment. Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice will incur a charge 50 percent of the appointment fee.

If you need to cancel your appointment at short notice because of Covid-19 related symptoms, a long-term medical condition which varies from day to day, or because you are more than 37 weeks pregnant, then I shall discuss the cost implications on a case by case basis.

An invoice for any cancellation / ‘no show’ charges will be sent to you by email for payment by bank transfer, due within 7 days. Following a cancellation, payment must be received before any further bookings can be taken.

Late Arrivals: It is important that whether in person or virtual, our agreed appointment time and duration is adhered to. I appreciate that sometimes things happen, and you may arrive slightly later or need to leave a bit earlier than planned, however missed time cannot be made up by overrunning or adding time to subsequent appointments.

Payments

• Payment at the time of your appointment.

• I accept cash, bank transfer, or card payment.

• If you plan on paying by bank transfer please let me know prior to your appointment so that I may provide my bank details so that payment can be made.

• Invoices will be sent via email to clients who do not pay for, or who cancel, treatments and must be paid within 7 days of the issue date.

Confidentiality

All client information and records will be safeguarded by Hafiedha Redpath and will remain confidential. Unless required to do so by law, I will not otherwise share, sell or distribute any of the information you provide to us without your consent.

Consultations and client treatment details will not be discussed with anyone other than the client, unless the client is under the age of 18 or has a care worker or guardian.

Health and Safety

Due to the nature of massage and the need for close contact, Hafiedha Redpath maintains a high standard of personal hygiene and clients are asked to ensure that they also maintain a high standard of personal hygiene.

If Hafiedha Redpath is suffering from a cold or virus, infection or general ill health, she will not work due to the risks of cross contamination. This may result Hafiedha Redpath contacting you to inform you of the issue at the earliest opportunity to make suitable alternative arrangements.

Clients are asked not to attend any in-person appointment if they are unwell, suffering from a cold or virus, infection or general ill health. Please contact Hafiedha Redpath via email at info@HafiedhaRedpath.com at the earliest opportunity to rearrange your appointment. If you are unwell and contact us to inform me of your illness, please note that my Cancellation Policy may still apply.

Hafiedha Redpath, will not be held responsible for the loss or damage of personal items during her time at the premises where treatments are given.

Clients under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This parent or guardian must give permission for the agreed treatment plan to be performed, and will be requested to co-sign the New Client Consultation Form. They will be invited to stay in the room for the duration of the appointment, and expected to remain present throughout the treatment.

Hafiedha Redpath holds the right to refuse any treatment if a client is physically or verbally abusive towards her, or demonstrates inappropriate, aggressive or sexual behaviour. Such behaviour may result in criminal proceedings.

Covid-19

By attending your scheduled appointment you/the client agree and declare that:

1. You/the client have not been in contact with anyone with Covid-19 in the last 14 days, to the best of your knowledge

2. You/the client have not had any symptoms:

   • a recent onset of a new, continuous cough

   • a high temperature (typically over 37.8℃)

   • a loss of, or change in, normal sense of smell and / or taste

3. Should you/the client contract the virus, or be contacted by the Track & Trace service and advised to self-isolate, you must inform Hafiedha Redpath as soon as possible

4. Depending upon the timing, Hafiedha Redpath may need to contact other clients possibly affected, and to self-isolate

Disclaimer

Shiatsu, Therapeutic massage & RTT Hypnotherapy are not a substitute for professional medical care. Hafiedha Redpath will always recommend referral to a GP or other qualified medical specialist or practitioner or mental health professional where appropriate. You/the client has a duty to provide accurate and true medical and personal information, to the best of your knowledge, and to keep Hafiedha Redpath up to date with details of any medication, symptoms, mental health or medical concerns or treatments you are having investigated or undergoing treatment for.

Hafiedha Redpath provides Shiatsu, Therapeutic Massage Therapy and bodywork in a variety of forms, but none of these modalities are a substitute for professional medical care or counselling. Hafiedha Redpath will not diagnose, prescribe medication or medical treatment of any kind, and will always recommend referral to a GP or other qualified medical specialist or practitioner.

RTT Hypnotherapy is a process in which you play an active role, you will get out of it what you put into it.

The you/the client has a duty to provide accurate and true medical and personal information, to the best of your knowledge, and to Hafiedha Redpath up to date with details of any medication, symptoms, medical concerns or treatments you are having investigated or undergoing treatment for. RTT is NOT suitable for people who suffer from epilepsy or psychosis. If you have a serious medical condition please consult with your GP.

Hafiedha Redpath may refuse to treat any client or part of their body with just and reasonable cause. Hafiedha Redpath reserves the right to terminate any appointment at any time if they believe that it is not safe or in the client’s best interest to continue. Likewise, the client has the right to refuse, modify or terminate treatment at any time, regardless of prior consent given.

Medical Waiver & Disclaimer:

Hafiedha Redpath provides RTT Hypnotherapy, Shiatsu, and Therapeutic Massage therapy services. You/the client agrees to provide any known medical or mental conditions that might be effected by Hypnotherapy or massage services. It is the responsibility of you/the client to disclose any medical conditions to Hafiedha Redpath before the start of your appointment. Medical conditions include but are not limited to: Heart conditions, stroke, diabetes, skin conditions and cancers.

Hafiedha Redpath cannot diagnose any medical conditions or provide referral for medical treatment or tests.

Indemnification:

You/the client agrees to indemnify and Hafiedha Redpath, Hafiedha Redpath Integrated Healing, officers, contractors and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs, made by any third party due to or arising out of use of any person or facility provided by Hafiedha Redpath, Hafiedha Redpath Integrated Healing.

Inappropriate Behaviour

• Hafiedha Redpath has the right to terminate a treatment immediately if the client demonstrates inappropriate or sexual behaviour.

• Payment will be collected for the full treatment price, provided more than 10 minutes has been spent with the client.

• If the Hafiedha Redpath is unable to collect payment before leaving, an invoice will be sent via the client’s email address.

• All invoices are due upon receipt.

Cancellation Policy

• A booking is confirmed once Hafiedha Redpath and the client have both agreed a date, time, duration and location for a treatment

• If a cancellation is made more than 24 hours before a treatment, the client will not be charged

• If a cancellation is made within 24 hours of the treatment, client will be expected to pay a cancellation fee of 50% of the appointment cost.

• This cancellation fee may be waived at Hafiedha Redpath’s discretion.

• The cancellation fee must be paid within 7 days of the cancellation.

• If a client is experiencing symptoms of Covid-19 or has knowingly come into contact with someone with Covid-19 symptoms within two weeks prior to the treatment, the client must cancel their session with immediate effect and the cancellation fee will be waived

• Hafiedha Redpath has the right to cancel a treatment by giving 24 hours notice

• Hafiedha Redpath has the right to cancel a treatment without notice if the environment is unsuitable for the treatment to be provided, or she is taken ill.

• Hafiedha Redpath has the right to cancel a treatment without notice if the client is intoxicated or inebriated

• Hafiedha Redpath commits to rearranging treatments to a new time and date within two weeks of the cancelled treatment where possible

Privacy

• Client treatment details will not be discussed with anyone other than the client unless the client is under the age of 18 or has a care worker or guardian

• Consultations will only be discussed with the client unless the client is under the age of 18 or has a care worker or guardian

• Consultation Forms and treatment notes will be kept on file, securely by Hafiedha Redpath.

• All clients must complete a consultation form prior to receiving treatments of any kind.

• By signing the consultation form, clients are giving Hafiedha Redpath permission to hold records and data about them in accordance with her Privacy Policy

• Personal information will not be shared with any third parties.
